We currently have an immediate full-time career opportunity in our Sioux City office for a Survey/Design Technician. DGR’s Civil Engineering and Surveying departments specialize in the design of roadways, subdivisions, airports, municipal utility distribution and collection lines, athletic & recreational facilities, and other related municipal, private and industrial civil engineering and surveying services.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Survey/Design Technician who will be responsible for assisting with topographical, construction and boundary surveys, and also observing and administering the construction of transportation related projects. Experience in transportation related projects and construction management including street, utility and site design is a plus. The successful candidate will also aid with drafting and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Applicant must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work with a wide variety of clients. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard-working and able to work within technical, project, budgetary, and time line constraints.
