DGR Aviation Engineer, Brian Meyer, led a tour of the new Sioux County Regional Airport
Monday, November 13 with the next generation of engineers from Dordt College.
The City of Windom is excited to see the final lift of paving being completed for
their 2017 Street project. Thank you to Holtmeier Construction, Hoffman Concrete
and SMC for their continued progress on this reconstruction endeavor.
DGR Engineering is proud to be a part of this Osceola County Rural Water System project.
It consists of the construction of a new 2,400 gpm water treatment plant and a 1.0 million gallon ground storage reservoir. The plant will remove iron and manganese from the groundwater through aeration, detention, and filtration treatment processes. The project also includes constructing two backwash water storage ponds.
The contractor, Grundman Hicks, has spent the last few weeks installing rebar and pouring concrete. They are currently setting wall forms on the north side of the building.
U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley visited DGR Engineering in Rock Rapids as part of his every county tour of Iowa. He was given an introduction to DGR’s work and held a Q&A with employees. Iowa State Representative John Wills was also in attendance.
DGR Engineering was honored to host U.S. Senator Joni Ernst as she continued her 99-county tour of Iowa this week. She took time to learn about our business and answered questions from DGR employees while in Rock Rapids.
