DGR Engineering recognized a record number of employee service award recipients during its fall gathering on October 3, honoring employees whose combined years of service reflect a longstanding commitment to the company, its clients, and the communities it serves.
Two employees received 40-year service awards: Christi Gilliland, Technician, Sioux Falls Office, and Blair Metzger, PE, Electrical Power Department and former President of the firm, Rock Rapids Office.
Honored for 30 years of service were Mike Carr, PE, Water/Wastewater Department, and Chad Rasmussen, PE, Department Head of the Electrical Power Department, both of the Rock Rapids Office.

DGR Engineering was recently named a Top Workplace by Iowa Top Workplaces, The Des Moines Register, and Great Plains Top Workplaces, marking its ninth consecutive year receiving the honor. This year, 133 organizations were recognized. The award is based entirely on confidential employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey conducted by Energage, LLC. The survey evaluates key aspects of the employee experience, including whether employees feel respected and supported, enabled to grow, and empowered to succeed. “We’re honored to once again receive these respected awards,” said Curt Dieren, President of DGR Engineering. “Our continued success reflects the trust of our clients and the dedication of our employees.
