DGR Engineering has an immediate opening in our Sioux Falls office for a Design/Survey Technician. DGR’s Civil Engineering and Surveying departments specialize in the design of roadways, subdivisions, airports, municipal utility distribution and collection lines, athletic & recreational facilities, and other related municipal, private and industrial civil engineering and surveying services.

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Design/Survey Technician with experience in designing/drafting transportation and utility related projects. This position will be responsible for drafting and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Construction observation experience including street, utility and site improvements is a plus. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with topographical, construction and boundary surveys, as well as observing and administering the construction of transportation and utility related projects.

Applicant must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work with a wide variety of clients. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard-working and able to work within technical, project, budgetary, and time line constraints.
