Due to continued growth in the markets it serves, DGR Engineering is breaking ground on an expansion to its headquarters in Rock Rapids, Iowa.  The work is slated to begin in earnest  this month and is planned to be substantially complete by May 2020.

The addition will add over 21,000 square feet on  three levels to the north end of the existing 29,000 square feet building.  The new space will accommodate up to 40 additional staff members who the firm intends to hire over the next several years. In addition, it will provide improved conferencing, meeting, and common-area space for its current 90 employees who work out of the Rock Rapids location.

The company moved from its downtown Rock Rapids location into their newly constructed current office building in 2001, and an expansion was finished in 2009.
