Electric System Study

DGR developed an electric system model of Wayne’s electric system.  We were able to obtain feeder load information and large power data from their demand meters which we inputted into the model.

We utilized Milsoft’s Windmil® to develop an electric system model.  The model identifies the areas on the primary system where there are voltage drop problems, along with equipment capacity problems.

We have utilized existing GIS models to import into Windmil® or used electric system maps to build the distribution system models.  This has been a good tool in identifying any system deficiencies.  This is very useful in planning and timing, so the utility can properly budget upcoming projects.
